Danielle Elzayat

Although her passion for public service is immense, her real passion is in her humanitarian work. She is co-founder of the Amity Foundation, a local charity organization which serves families in need. Danielle also serves as President of the Crestwood Board of Education. She says she draws her energy from the support of God and her family. Their united faith keeps her going. She is very involved in her mosque, The Islamic Institute of America in Dearborn Heights. There, Elzayat serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. Danielle currently lives in Dearborn Heights with her husband, Amad, and is a very proud mother of three daughters; Medina (23) Mirvat (20) and Mariam (17).
