Dr. Adam Fahs

Dr. Adam Fahs is an orthopedic surgeon based in Detroit, Michigan. In December 2023, Dr. Fahs embarked on a critical medical mission to Gaza with Rahma Worldwide, a humanitarian nonprofit. For one week, Dr. Fahs and his team worked tirelessly at the European Gaza and Nasser Hospitals, addressing severe injuries resulting from bombings and explosions. His work involved treating patients with severe blast injuries, performing complex surgeries under dire conditions, and adapting to the depleated healthcare system with minimal supplies. Since returning responding to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Dr. Fahs has joined Doctors Against Genocide to speak out about the types of patients he witnessing and treated.
