Dr. Karameh Hawash-Kuemmerle

Dr. Karameh Hawash Kuemmerle is a Palestinian American assistant professor in neurology and a pediatric neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is the co-founder of Doctors Against Genocide. She is dedicated to mobilizing medical professionals and volunteers to stand in solidarity with those suffering from genocide and violence. She leads Health for Palestine Pediatric Program, working with a team to deliver medical care and train community health workers in refugee camps. focusing on health equity, in low-resource, high-violence environments.
