Lexis Zeidan is an activist and political strategist in Dearborn, Michigan. She is most recently the Senior Strategist and Director of Voter Engagement and turnout for Hill Harper’s Senate campaign. A former teacher and school leader, she has served as the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives at Teach For America Detroit and is the co-founder of Detroit Kids Matter. Zeidan holds degrees from Michigan State University and is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. As a lifelong advocate for educational equity, her advocacy extends to early childhood education and building coalitions for impactful change.
Zeidan has been instrumental to the Listen to Michigan campaign, the coalition which inspired the 2024 Democratic Primary Uncommitted Movement, as well as the Not Another Bomb campaign. She has been very active on social media and given numerous interviews about her experience as a Palestinian engaging in American politics.
